CONCESIÓN DEL 2º PREMIO "BUENAS PRÁCTICAS EN ENSEÑANZA BILINGÜE".

El IES Triana ha sido galardonado con el segundo Premio "Buenas Prácticas en enseñanza bilingüe" por el proyecto multidisciplinar "ACTIVE CITIES, HEALTHY CITIES" y no podemos estar más orgullosos. Fue llevado a cabo durante el confinamiento en el tramo final del curso pasado con el alumnado de 1º de bachillerato. El trabajo fue liderado por Jorge Botias desde el Departamento de Educación Física y contó con la colaboración de Lidia Susín (Departamento de Inglés), Eugenio López (Departamento de Geografía e Historia), Miguel Jesús Ruiz (Departamento de Física y Química), Marta Solanas (Departamento de Tecnología) e Isidoro López (Departamento de Informática).

El proyecto parte de una evidencia, realiza un análisis y tiene como producto final una maravillosa propuesta para transformar la ciudad de Sevilla en un espacio más sostenible y más sano, dotando a la población de espacios y recursos para manterse activos físicamente.

One of the most popular holidays in the United States is Thanksgiving. It is a day to celebrate with friends and family by eating food and spending time together. Thanksgiving takes place on the fourth Thursday of November.

It is important to remember that the history of Thanksgiving is a nice story, but the Native Americans who lived in America first were not treated fairly and many Native Americans today do not like to recognize this holiday. Many people celebrate this holiday without thinking about its history. The holiday to many people is simply a time to gather and share food.

INTERNATIONAL DAY FOR THE ELIMINATION OF VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN

Violence against women and girls (VAWG) is one of the most widespread, persistent and devastating human rights violations in our world today remains largely unreported due to the impunity, silence, stigma and shame surrounding it.

In general terms, it manifests itself in physical, sexual and psychological forms, encompassing:

• intimate partner violence (battering, psychological abuse, marital rape, femicide);
• sexual violence and harassment (rape, forced sexual acts, unwanted sexual advances, child sexual abuse, forced marriage, street harassment, stalking, cyber- harassment);
• human trafficking (slavery, sexual exploitation);
• female genital mutilation; and
• child marriage.
